Hey all, me again!
Just got back from Bobby's show. It was wonderful as always.
Anyway, I got on twitter and was greeted with the some pretty awesome info: Marcus will be at SXSW!!!

Nash-Vegas...wow...I don't even know where to begin! Well, I suppose from the beginning, right? It was a cool March evening when I heard the news that Bobby Long was coming to America for a little teaser tour in April. At this time, I was pondering the thought of going down to Nashville to see him perform...it was only a nine hour drive...a road trip sounded fun. But it wasn't until Sam Bradley announced that he would be joining Bobby did my plans start to solidify.
Well this little road trip turned out to be our first official Land of Dreamers trip. We had 75 confirmed members traveling to see them! We started looking for hotels where we could 'take over' for the week! As the plans happened, I decided to send a message to Phil Taylor, Bobby's manager, requesting an inteview for the Land of Dreamers while we were down there! It was confirmed quickly and the excitement (and butterflies) began!
These videos brought on many many jokes...especially Sam and his Pickle!!! He was pretty bummed that I didn't react to the pickle during the interview..."pickle shake" - Sam, I did react to the pickle...there was a internal conflict that if you watch closely, you will see me debate in my head whether or not to be professional or just laugh out loud! Sam gave Carmen a shout out and of course, his birthday wishes to Lacey Lacey! The inteviews were amazing...I was so nervous but they both made me feel so comfortable and we so amazing to us! Vamp Radio was there as well to record them for us! Thank you Amy and Gina!
The week went on and we met new friends and shared the experience of seeing Sam and Bobby together for the first time in America! I blogged about some of the trip in my personal LiveJournal and you can check out the links below for our Epic Vamp Radio updates live from the line at 3rd and Lindsey!

Seattle was the last evening that The Sam Bradley Band*, Elizabeth & The Catapult and Justin Nozuka Band were all together as part of their 5 week tour. The three bands came together to give this performance and it's a real treat! Enjoy!
*formerly Sam Bradley & The Men, if they really were serious about the name change as Sam introduced them under the new name at their Vancouver's show this past Saturday after stating this as their intention earlier in the day.

So here are my videos from Marcus Foster's show in San Diego last Thursday (12/3/09). It was absolutely fantastic, even though there was no alcohol (much to Marcus' dismay). The venue was really small and intimate, and quiet, which I personally prefer. Sorry about the darkness of the vids. I was sitting in the back where there was not too much light.

I don't know if this is the right place to put this and you can remove if it's not , but my sister and i are going to our first concert of Bobby's on the 14th and we wanted to do something nice for Bobby and Phil. My sister makes homemade candy and we were thinking about putting a gift basket together. We've heard how the LOD has given them stuff like this before and we were wondering if you think it's a good idea, and if anyone knows if they're allergic to or don't like certain things like (chocolate, nuts, peanut butter.......). Feel free to comment we could really use your help.

I'm proud to announce you that Bobby and Marcus' shows in Paris in January are all sold out now. The hard work paid and we did it... That's amazing for the Boys !!!
Anyway, seing the final result coming, I've worked ahead with Phil and the venue.
